New Medicaid Limits for 2010
Except in a narrow number of cases a Medicaid resource assessment will be performed if you have a spouse. The 2010 protected standards are as follows: $109,560 is the Maximum Spousal Resource Standard, and $29,912 is the Minimum Spousal Resource Standard. The minimum allowance amount is $1,812.25 and the maximum maintenance needs allowance is $2,739. The community spouse excess Shelter standard is $546.38.
There will be no Social Security cost of living increase for 2010.
